| Virgil did a short set only 4 songs at Hartlepool. But I did enjoy it. Miss Shaw Taylor is on top form at the moment, and the new CD is well worth purchasing. Off to see Lahannya, Esoterica and the amazing Winter in Eden on Thursday, with Dr. Feelgood Friday and Breathing Space on Saturday.

| I did Andy, but Voodoo Six are playing Newcastle the same night. And I had promised to go and see them. It also means not driving down the A19, which is like an ice rink at the moment. | |

| No ticket yet - not that organised ... Mostly Autumn were very good at the Robin - Livvy was singing her socks off, probably so she could be heard over the rest of the band! Andy | |

| The weather's reasonably OK, Chantel and the band are playing The Bullingdon in Oxford tonight, so I'll be on my way in a couple of hours. | |

| Looks like my gig year is now over and done. Tonight should have been the last gig, Chantel McGregor Band at the 100 Club. Paul McCartney played there last night. The 100 Club pulled the gig this afternoon as their staff could not get to the venue. Chantel, at the time, was on a car park AKA the M1, near Milton Keynes. She was told to turn around and head 160 miles north back home to Yorkshire. I was snowed in and couldn't have got there anyway. Gig re-scheduled for March 26th. Hats off to Chantel and the band for giving it everything they'd got to get the gig on. 2010 has been a great year for gigs. | |

| And Black Country Communion were not worth £40, even with Joanne Shaw Taylor doing support. | |

| My first gig of the year will be the Billy Walton Band in Tunbridge Wells on February 19th. A rock/blues trio from New Jersey, they come over to the UK twice a year. Billy Walton's one of my favourite axemen, and I saw a great gig from the band in Chislehurst last year. http://www.billywaltonband.com/home.html | |
