| R.E.M.'s Live At The Olympia. An absolute belter of a live album - many bands half their age don't have even 1% of the energy these guys have. | |

| Currently listening to "The Ladder", by Yes, which I had not played for years, but a new CD player recently, and then a new amp last week, has prompted me to dig out some of my less played discs. | |

| Sarah Rumer Joyce - new artist to me - new single - Slow
i think that she sounds a lot like another artist starting out on a solo career !
This fantastic song is getting a lot of promotion on Radio 2

| More information on Sarah Rumer Joyce
Slow is a single taken from her EP released by Universal for whom she recently signed after years working with no recognition - so it can be done !
Sarah has received great reviews in the Guardian and the Independent and will be supporting Jools Holland on his Autumn tour culminating with a concert at the RAH !
Check out the EP on iTunes

| Hawkwind are Touchstone weren't at the CRF this year
HW would be a good CRF headliner, though. Have they played the CRF in the past?

Thanks Colin - and Paul - I was about to buy the SAHB BBC cd as Play are offering it at a fiver... must get around to ordering, along with half a dozen others that looked interesting in their current £5 offer (Strawbs at the BBC, couple of Steve Hackett albums, Coheed and Cambra, The Enid - Journey)

| For a £5 SAHB at the BeeB is an absolute bargain, the only better BeeB albums i've ever heard would be Rory Gallagher, All About Eve and an almost BeeB CD by Edgar Broughton (keep them freaks a rollin). | |
