Hey folks!!!
Thanks to everyone who came down to see us in Leicester this weekend! We had a really great gig!
So who is planning to catch our forthcoming gigs in Southend and Bilston??
It would be great to see all the BS fans, past and present ( ) down to see the last few gigs with our current line-up.

Also I can confirm we are hoping to record the Bilston gig, be it for a CD or a DVD, so bring your favourite hats and your best singing voices!!!

Not sure you'd want to hear my singing, Paul, but hopefully everyone else will drown me out!

Definitely the end of an era - I can't wait on the one hand, but I think it's probably fair to say that overall it's going to be bittersweet! Still, as has already been said... onwards on upwards, for everyone! It should be a fantastic - and memorable - night.

I got to see the band at The Riga for the first time a couple of weeks ago. A really superb gig. I've e.mailed the Riga and told them that. Couldn't get to Bilston on Sunday though. Major car problems on the way back from Leamington Spa Friday night.

Great news that we should be able to get a live recording of the gig at The Robin. My personal preference, for what it's worth, would be a DVD of course! Especially as I now know how good the band is on stage. Looking forward to seeing/hearing the band perform The Gap, along with all my other favourites that were played at The Riga.

Whatever it is, it's going to be good.

A decision on the DVD will, of course, rest with the band. But as someone who was working two of the cameras, and who has seen some of it, there's every reason to hope it will be released. I don't know for sure but I believe we recorded footage of every second but of course a lot depends on how good it is. Then there's the question of editing together the footage from the different cameras, and aligning the soundtrack to it, so it will take a while too. Let's hope it can be done!

I really hope that a DVD will be issued.

The band were on great form for their last few gigs and it will be great to have a permanent record of this before moving on to the next stage in the journey.

Thanks to Astral Enigma for clarifying the DVD situation. As the band have a growing reputation as one of the best live acts on the circuit, it would be a great time to release this, as long as everything is OK with the footage. I'm sure it will get a great review in Classic Rock Prog, and be very helpful in getting the band some good gigs. Although it was not possible for me to be there, it sounds like it was a moment in time that needs to be captured on film.
