Ok, so who thinks there may be something in this 'The world's going to end in 2012' theory??

I have booked my one-way flight to central Russia to avoid the floods, just in case...

Not sure about this. Is this 2012 end of the world thing from the Mayan ideal or Nostradamus that predicted this. If it is the second then no problem as that bloke predicted England to win the world cup in a country below the equator before the end of the world and we all know how that turned out Laughing Laughing

Actually Nostradamus didn't predict anything, it's just the way people decide to interpret his babble. And for everything that has happened, thousands of others haven't. It seems to me that it's the infinite number of monkeys/typewriters coming up with the works of Shakespeare idea.........total twadle Suspect

But just incase the world does end in 2012, I will watch it on Skynews with a bottle of malt drunken

I find it hard to imagine that with all the rocks floating around space we're not going to bop into a big one eventually!
It probably won't happen in our lifetimes, but i beleive that is how mankind's dominance of this planet will end...

And on a side thought, this whole global warming thing is twadddle too! 100 years ago the River Ouse froze over every single winter, and it hasn't done that since 1947.
And Oliver Cromwell died from Malaria! The earth is constantly warming and cooling. It's no biggy, and certainly nothing we can prevent!

But, recycling is still a very good thing!! king

Yes, I worry about the rocks etc in space colliding with us again catostrophicically affraid

I don't worry about global warming though. The River Thames also froze over in victorian times, regularly. I believe they called them frost fairs, but am sure that Colin will put me right on this.

If I've paid into my pension since I was 19 years old and don't get to draw it because of a rock colliding with the earth and destroying us all, I'll be very upset. Mad

My missus says there is usually 1 husband clown in twaddle. You Helen can come and share the malt with me.
Somewhere else though as I have ordered the first rock to hit this god-forsaken town where I live.

I'm not worried about a large rock hitting the Earth, because Bruce Willis will sort it out.
