New Line Up

Any idea when the two new members will be announced ?

Very soon. The decision has been taken and as soon as the biog details reach me there will be an announcement on the web site. Keep watching!

It sounds like this announcement is getting close to being imminent. Whoever gets the gig is going to be joining a great band. As far as Livvy's replacement is concerned, it would be nice if a young local girl from the Yorkshire area has leapt out of the pack. Someone who is unknown, but grows into being in the same class as Livvy. A big ask of anybody, of course, but the future looks very exciting.

On the 'Meet the Band' page of the website it now says Jo on vocals and Adam on guitars but there are no photos of them. Anyone have any further info ?

Not too sure about "Jo" - although I have my suspicions - but I'd hazard a guess at "Adam" being Adam Dawson.

What I can say is that there's no conspiracy theory thing going on here - the only reason there's no pictures (yet) is that I haven't got any to put on the web site. As soon as I have more details of both Adam and Jo then details of both will be put up.

You'll get the details as soon as possible after I get them... assuming they arrive before I go on holiday (IF there are any flights...)

Have a search on Facebook for "Adam Dawson" - you'll find YouTube vids of him playing a few covers with his band...

"Hello to everyone from BS HQ!

Just a quick insight into what's going on behind the scenes!

As I'm sure most of you will know, we've recently welcomed two fantastic new musicians to the band, and we're currently rehearsing with them - we're taking care picking songs from our previous sets which we're going to take forward to the new live line-up and we're also writing some new tunes which we'll introduce at some gig very shortly!

Our plans are still on track - we hope to be up and running in time for Cambridge Rock Festival on 8 August 2010, and we also hope to squeeze in some local-ish warm-up gigs before then. Further details on our up-coming dates will be announced as soon as possible.

Our main website is currently going through a bit of a re-vamp, and will be updated with new band biographies, new pictures and gig details very shortly!
We also have a brand new form, courtesy of our good friend Hippy Dave, which can be found through our website, at: www.breathingspaceband.info

It's been great to hear that so many people are looking forward to our re-emergence, and we're really looking forward to getting back out there and playing for you all again!!

Sorry for the delay!! Hopefully an announcement will be made very soon, but we're still finalising a few things backstage.
We'll put details up one site as soon as the lineup is finalised!

Blimey, it seems to be taking an eternity to announce the new line up of the band - have there been some hitches or change of mind ?

Well, the guys obviously want to get this right, and frankly, who can blame them? Livvy's boots must be extraordinarily hard to fill, and I'm sure the new guitarist (whoever he may be... ) has got his work cut out for him as well!

Paul? Barry? Trev? Anyone there at BS HQ who can give us the latest?
